I bought this grinder based on its size and look of durability and the KitchenAid name. I like the fact that the bowl comes out but I am finding that when I grind beans the bowl always comes unscrewed while grinding no matter how hard I screw it in.

The locking plastic base on this grinder cracked and fell apart in less than 3 months. Really poor quality at an inflated price. Don't buy it....

We have owned many "cheap" grinders over the years. After buying and using our Kitchen Aid Grinder I know we will probably never have to buy another one. It is very well built, powerful and the removable bowl makes for easy cleaning.
